Bharat Forge Kilsta AB in Karlskoga is owned by the Indian forging group Bharat Forge Ltd, the world's largest forging group and part of the Kalyani Group. Bharat Forge Kilsta AB has approximately 300 employees.
The company is globally one of the largest suppliers of crankshafts and front axle beams for heavy trucks. The company also manufactures crankshafts for passenger cars and steering components. The core of the operation consists of a unique 16,000-ton forging press, which is considered the world's most efficient facility of its kind.
The customers include several major European truck manufacturers. The company operates in a highly competitive and distinctly international environment. We are now looking for a Work Environment Engineer to further strengthen our work environment efforts.

The RoleAs a Work Environment Engineer with us, you will drive and develop our work environment efforts, both strategically and operationally. You will strengthen our work environment culture, improve the systematic work environment efforts, and promote health and safety throughout the organization. You will ensure that we meet legal requirements and internal goals and maintain close contact with various parts of the organization.
Your main responsibilities
· Conduct risk assessments and safety rounds in collaboration with production and safety representatives
· Educate, coach, and support managers in work environment issues
· Investigate accidents, incidents, and risk observations and propose preventive measures
· Drive and develop our systematic work environment efforts (SAM)
· Actively collaborate with safety representatives and union representatives
· Develop routines and instructions within the work environment area in our management system
· Monitor legislation, regulations (AFS), and permits and implement these in practical operations
· Be the contact person for authorities and external actors in the work environment area
Who are we looking for?We are looking for someone with relevant education, such as a work environment engineer or in the field of environment and safety. You have gained experience from industrial operations, preferably heavy industry. You speak and write Swedish and English fluently and are also accustomed to using system support in your daily work.
As a person, you are calm, secure, and have a professional demeanor. Good collaboration skills, where you understand the importance of being pedagogical and communicative in all the different contact points you have, are
very important in this role. You have your own drive and work in a proactive and systematic way, and you are independent and solution-focused.
